Last week in our house...

This is the last week in our first home together. I'm so excited to move and have more space and a new house, but it's kinda bittersweet as well. We have made so many memories here and had so many great times, but I know there will be even more in the new house.

We haven't done a whole because we have been super busy w/ our crazy lives, on top of packing and getting things lined up for the move.

It's been snowing and cold, so we've got to spend some time outside playing in the snow.

 

The first 'snow' day wasn't as fun as I expected...Nolan was mad about wearing his snow suit...

Then he wouldn't go out and play in the snow. Just wanted me to hold him...so he ended up being a crabbutt and we wen't back inside, which he also wasn't happy about, again!

So, he just stood at the window and watched the dogs run around the yard and play like crazies!

 

 The next day he was loving it, jumping around and kicking it everywhere...trying to catch snowflakes in his mouth. It was sooo cute!

 He is such a Ham!! :)

These two are pretty cute too...annoying most of the time, but cute!

My sister came over to hang out one day and she was looking at Skylars Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue...Nolan yanked it out of her hand and took it across the room so he could check out the swimsuit models himself! Life Father...Like son!

Oh Boy!!

Watching Titus...(search Titus Trick Shot on Youtube.com) Nolan is OBSESSED and watches it at least once every single day...I think he is his role model ;)

Being bad and throwing Fruit Loops to Sadie and then laughing when I tell him not to.

We're all exhausted from this hectic week...even the dogs!

Closing on the houses tomorrow...and moving Friday... :) :) :) :)

So...Over...Winter!!

Not a whole lot has been going on around here, just waiting for next week to get here so I can start packing and we can move...I have been trying to come up with some fun stuff to do inside with Nolan to keep the both of us sane during this nasty cold weather...almost everything turns into a huge mess, but that's okay. It keeps us occupied for a few minutes at least...

We did some bath tub artwork...just put some food coloring in shaving cream and let him paint on the walls...he loved it!

We made cinnamon rolls for breakfast one morning, and Nolan was my big helper!

 I even let him watch TV while eating breakfast ;)

Valentines Day was very laid back...I made Taco's for dinner (Daddy's request) and Ninny came over to eat too...

 Daddy taught Nolan all about wearing a tie...

 

We met Aunt Keli at Pizza Hut for lunch one day and she got Nolan a cool new toy to play with!

 

 We went to Morgan and Baby Alivia's shower this weekend and are really getting excited for her to make her entrance into this world and to meet her!

He or She...what will it be???

Skylar and I had our 20 week anatomy scan yesterday...and the little nugget was wild and crazy, but still decided he or she would cooperate for the sonographer. It was so fun seeing the little bambino bouncing around in there and going crazy, but we decided to save the best part to share with our families. We had the sonographer put the picture letting us know the sex in an envelope and Skylar took it to Noll Cafe. They made us 12 cupcakes, since there were 12 of us and only ONE of them had either pink or blue inside of it...so the lucky person who got that cupcake got to announce what it was.

(Noll cafe is owned by Hope School and some of Skylars students work there, so we were happy to have them make the cupcakes for us - and they were DELICIOUS)

We had our little reveal party at Skylar's parents house since there was more room there, and his mom had all kinds of cute little decorations for us.

Poppy was the lucky one! and IT'S A GIRL...!!!!!!!! :)

 

I had really been feeling girl the past few weeks, but in the sonogram, I could have sworn I saw a scrotum...so I was super suprised! Never pictured myself having a little girl with all the frilly bows and teenage attitudes, etc. but I am very excited!! Skylar is a bit on the nervous side, but he is really excited too!

 

 Nolan looks excited....but we'll have to wait and see ;)

 

 I guess now it's time to get a name picked out and start shopping for her new wardrobe!

 

Grandma Tierney has already got her shoe collection started!

 

It was such a fun night and I'm glad we got to spend it with our families! We are so blessed!!!! :)

 

How could I get any luckier??? Guess i'll find out in a few months...





Hello February...

Last week...

Skylar and I had a date night!! First time we had gone out together, alone, since October! My sister had bought us a gift card to Bella Malino and to the movies for our anniversary gift in May, so we decided to finally use it and eat there and it was delicious!

Not the best pic, but only one we've had in months! ;)

After dinner, I was too tired to go to a movie, so we decided to go browse at washers/dryers and furniture for the new house. Ended up buying a washer, dryer, dining room table and chairs and bar stools. Would have been much cheaper if we would have just gone to the movies ;)

Sunday, Daddy took Nolan to church and let me sleep in :) He dressed him so cute that day - never thought my chubba bubba would fit in the skinny jeans Poppy got him, but he was so stinkin cute in them!

We spent the morning relaxing then Nolan and Skylar went the Bramleys for their annual Superbowl party. I didn't even know who was playing football, but had to dress Nolan up in some football gear ;)

Another wild and crazy night at Music Factory and we had alot of fun.
This kid has been loving running around the house in his diaper or nakey lately...little weirdo ;)

Wednesday we had a mommy and Nolan day! Started out at the Dr office for a recheck of the ears (Nolan DESPISES the Dr office! He has fun in the waiting room at the fish tank, etc...but when it comes to walking back to the room, he flips a lid!), so that was a fun trip!

Then we went to the mall for lunch and a little play time at the kids play area. Nolan had a blast!

He was exhausted and passed out on the way home.

Thought i'd get him home and he'd take a nice nap while I cleaned...but nope, no nap for him. He slept a total of 20 minutes! So I was a bit worried when we headed to my work for a baby shower...but he was a good boy and just ran around like a little wild man with my coworkers kiddo's, so it was a fun time. Then we ended the night with Aunt Keli coming over to visit! It was a fun day :)

I'll be 20 weeks this weekend and this little bambino is a wild thang! Tuesday is the big day...boy...or...girl...???? :) I can't wait! :)
