A weekend off!

Thursday, Skylar and I still weren't feeling the greatest, but had a fundraiser for Hope School to go to, so we sucked it up, got all dressed up and headed out for a 'date night' - We had alot of fun, and the Fashion show had a great turnout and raised a ton of money for a wonderful cause! However, I want a raincheck for another date night since our night out was cut short from being sick!

Me and my man in his penguin suit ;) He's an ambassador for Hope School, so has to wear it...it wasn't a choice ;) Still looks handsome though!

 



Friday I spent the day running my butt off at work...and was EXHAUSTED at the end of the day! I got home from work and Nolan was up and was extra cuddly and gave me lots of hugs and kisses, so that helped out! It was well worth it though because then I had the entire weekend off...something that hasn't happened in forever, AND we had no big plans, so I was really looking forward to it.

 

Saturday, we got up and took Nolan to the Gymnastic Zone. They have an open gym there from 9-10 and it's $5 a child...i'd highly recommend it if you have little ones and want to get them out of the house to run around. They have a blast!

We ran a few errands afterwards and went to Menards...then I tried SO hard to keep Nolan awake on the way home so we wouldn't mess up his nap...

 That night, I went to my cousin, Rebecca's, play...Suessical the Musical. She did awesome and the play was adorable!

Sunday, my dad came over to visit and hang out in the morning, then Mother Nature decided to throw 17inches of snow on us. Fabulous! Happy Spring! We hung around the house, then were bored, so trucked over to sky's parents and had dinner and hung out.

 I was so bored I even tried to put Nolan's hair in a mohawk...while he tried curling his eyelashes ;)

 

Then Monday morning, I got up early and headed into work and got to take care of two of my friends and their beautiful babies...Louden and Alivia!! Congrats to the Reeds and Becks!!!!! Enjoy every second, because before you know it, they will be running around telling you "No Mommy!" and bossing you around telling you to "Come Mommy!!!"

 

It was a GREAT weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

So, it's Spring???

So, they say it's Spring...really???...because this cold weather is horrible and I am SOOOOO over it. This time last year it was in the 70's and 80's :( :(

Friday, we had a Nolan/Mommy day (wait...actually, Skylar was out of town last week, we had a Nolan/Mommy week!!). We relaxed around the house in the morning and went shopping, then spent the afternoon playing outside since it was 60! Nolan was loving being outside and just running around, playing with the dogs and checking things out at his "new home." When we drive by our old house he says "home" but when we go to our new house, he says "new home."

I had to work Friday night and woke up Saturday to a crabby boy with a fever. I spent that night and most of Sunday on the couch, holding my poor little sick man :( Worked again Sunday night so Monday, Skylar took the day off to take care of Nolan and take him to the Dr. Another ear infection and a nasty cold (thanks to that lovely weather change we had!). So then, he decided to share his lovely cough with Skylar and I...so we all had a sick day on Wednesday and just lounged around the house and coughed and snotted everywhere....Great day ;) Even though we didn't feel good, we had a fun day. Nolan helped me to make some chocolate pudding...such a good little helper ;)

Today we are all feeling better and back to our normal routines. We have a fundraiser for Skylars work tonight - I'm excited to have an evening out with Skylar, but not so excited to have to get all dressed up...especially with lovely cold I have going on. Oh well...I'll make the best of it! :)

On a happy note, I got to clean the house really good on Tuesday...felt aweseome, even though it didn't last very long :( But i snapped a few pics of the house...at least of the rooms that are cleaned, and finished ;)

Another week at the Tierney's

Last Thursday night and Friday night I worked, so Saturday we spent the evening together and cooked out! It was nice to be able to relax at home after not seeing my boys for a couple days, and it was also 'semi-warm' out so we got to get outside for a bit too....now if only it would get warm and stay warm we'd be happy campers!

Hard Working Boys

Monday night Skylar had a meeting for work and then left Tuesday to go out of town so it's been me and my little man this week...we are missing daddy but we have kept busy though!

Tuesday we went to my grandma's to visit with her for a bit before music class - then headed over to do some dancing and signing...Nolan's favorite night of the week! My mom joined us this week and got some pics of the crazy boy having a blast!

Yesterday, I had my 24 week appt and got to have another sono, so I got to see the little miss :) She was a good little girl and everything looks perfectly healthy with her...definetly has some long legs which she has been using to kick me alot. I can't wait to meet her...but I'll hold off for a few more months.

My appointment went well, then my mom took the day off work and we were off to go spend the day shopping. Picked out some adorable bedding for the nursery because my mom is going to make her bedding. Then met up with my sister and we all had lunch and shopped for our house....things are starting to come along...lots to do still, but we're getting there....

Ninny gave Nolan his own ice cream bar...and he was loving it!
