Check, Check, Check...

It's been a pretty low key week here at the Tierney Household...so this should be short and sweet....and probably pretty boring too ;)

We have been working on getting things done around the house and checking things off of Daddy's "To-Do" list all week and have gotten alot accomplished! However, somehow I just keep adding more stuff.

Daddy's big helper working in the yard

I'm loving this nicer weather we are having so that Nolan and daddy can play outside and I can cook dinner without a munchkin at my feet whining for me to hold them!

Got the nursery all painted and ready to get started on decorating...CHECK!

 Bye Bye Pink Walls! :)
 Such a big helper!

And we got our bedroom painted and our new furniture and bedding, etc, so it's all starting to come togther too! (Pics to come later...) CHECK!

We decided to try Casa Real before Music class this week - it had been a while since we took Nolan to eat out b/c he's such wild man, so we thought we'd give it a try. And lets just say it will be a while before we do it again! Then at music class he was a crazy boy...running around trying to tackle everyone. He has a blast there and it's a fun little thing we do, but I will say I was relieved to hear there are only 3 more classes let - he is wearing this mama out!!

I'll be 31 weeks this weekend....I can't believe it has flown by like it has. Excited to get this pregnancy done and over with, but still have 800 things to do before we're ready to meet her :)

Still trying to prepare this little ham too ;)

We're all growing up!

Some changes have been going on around our household the last couple weeks...which I am happy about, but also sad.

My little man has now been sleeping in a big boy bed all week!!
( Now our next change is getting rid of the Night Night Paci's)

Makes me happy because now we can use the crib for the baby and we do not have to go out and buy a whole new bedroom outfit for her...makes me sad because my little man is getting so big. He is doing such a great job and has really impressed mommy and daddy! Now we get to start re-doing his room and change out his nursery stuff. He is just changing so much and continues to amaze me everyday with how smart he is! We definetly have our bad days and he can definetly have an attitude alot of times, but I just love him so much...I was holding him on the couch last night reading our bedtime books and was thinking that I just really don't know how I am going to love another baby as much as I love him! I know it just happens, but I can't grasp it right now. And as far as our little lady, Skylar and I have finally decided on a first and middle name for her!! Stay tuned...you'll get to find out in 10 short weeks or less!

We started working on the nursery. First coat of paint I didn't like, so we got another color...now we just have to put another coat on, then it's time for carpet and to get it all set up. Can't wait for it to all come together!

Poppy came out to visit on Sunday and it was GORGEOUS outside so we got to get out and play...

 Swinging with Poppy

 Flying a kite

Just eating a little snack ;)

I also turned 31 this week! Doesn't feel any different than 30 did, or 29, etc... but it was a good day. Got to catch up with a friend from work and visit with her and her sweet little baby boy...and then Skylar and I went to Osaka for dinner and pigged out. It was a good night.

I was just kinda thinking back of everything that I have accomplished over the last 31 years...have made many wonderful friends near and far that i'm happy to still have strong friendships with, am still crazy about and got to marry my high school sweetheart, have 2 college degrees (which I'm still paying for, ughhh), working in a job that I love, proud to be called Nolans mommy and watch him grow everyday...and soon to be another addition to our family...we have bought our second house and work very hard for everything we have. Lots of good things have been thrown my way and I feel like a very lucky and blessed girl. I look forward to the next 30 years and just spending time with my family and enjoying life! :)

Amanda and Marley came out to play for a bit last night...so it was fun to watch those cuties run around like little crazies.

Love these boys - they're going to be good buddies growing up!

That's about it around here...now time to work friday, sunday and monday...boo :(

Easter, Birthdays and a Wedding!

We've had a busy couple weeks since my last post...

Easter came and went and we had a great time! We took Nolan to his first Easter Egg Hunt at the Williamsville Park and he was less than thrilled. It was freezing and windy out, so mommy wasn't very thrilled either.  I guess he doesn't get all of the excitement of running to go get the eggs before the other kids because he just stood there watching the rest of them ;) I think we ended up with 2 eggs!! Oh well, There's always next year!

Still not so sure about the Easter Bunny either!

 My boys!

 HAPPY EASTER!

Relaxing and warming up after a cold day!

Tornado Bressan came over for a bit afterwards and hung out...

 ahh, love these sweet moments

Then Morgan, Aaron and Miss Alivia came over for a little cookout!

Nolan telling her bye bye.

Sunday, we spent Easter at Sky's Uncles Farm. The kids all had a blast with the horses and big tractors, gators, etc...it was a beautiful day!

I Just love him in his skinny jeans

Grandma Cindy somehow got Nolan to sit by himself with the Easter Bunny AND smile!! love it!

The next week was a busy one with odds and ends all week...then ending with Katie and Eric's wedding!! I missed Nolan over the weekend, but had a great time! So glad I got to be a part of their big day, it was BEAUTIFUL...almost as beautiful as the bride!!

On the Dream Machine!

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Jerome!

Melissa, Jim and Bryce stopped by on Sunday on their way back to Chicago :) ...Nolan wanted to help buckle him into his carseat.

Sunday, we also celebrated Sydnie's 11th bday with the family...

Nolan playing with Jett...

It's been an exhausting couple of weeks...i'm ready for the warm weather and for life to slow down a little!! On a happy note, i'm almost 29 weeks already and am in my 3rd trimester!  Better get things in gear because our little lady will be here before we know it :) :)
