My little man has now been sleeping in a big boy bed all week!!
( Now our next change is getting rid of the Night Night Paci's)
Makes me happy because now we can use the crib for the baby and we do not have to go out and buy a whole new bedroom outfit for her...makes me sad because my little man is getting so big. He is doing such a great job and has really impressed mommy and daddy! Now we get to start re-doing his room and change out his nursery stuff. He is just changing so much and continues to amaze me everyday with how smart he is! We definetly have our bad days and he can definetly have an attitude alot of times, but I just love him so much...I was holding him on the couch last night reading our bedtime books and was thinking that I just really don't know how I am going to love another baby as much as I love him! I know it just happens, but I can't grasp it right now. And as far as our little lady, Skylar and I have finally decided on a first and middle name for her!! Stay tuned...you'll get to find out in 10 short weeks or less!
We started working on the nursery. First coat of paint I didn't like, so we got another color...now we just have to put another coat on, then it's time for carpet and to get it all set up. Can't wait for it to all come together!
Poppy came out to visit on Sunday and it was GORGEOUS outside so we got to get out and play...
Swinging with Poppy
Flying a kite
Just eating a little snack ;)
I also turned 31 this week! Doesn't feel any different than 30 did, or 29, etc... but it was a good day. Got to catch up with a friend from work and visit with her and her sweet little baby boy...and then Skylar and I went to Osaka for dinner and pigged out. It was a good night.
I was just kinda thinking back of everything that I have accomplished over the last 31 years...have made many wonderful friends near and far that i'm happy to still have strong friendships with, am still crazy about and got to marry my high school sweetheart, have 2 college degrees (which I'm still paying for, ughhh), working in a job that I love, proud to be called Nolans mommy and watch him grow everyday...and soon to be another addition to our family...we have bought our second house and work very hard for everything we have. Lots of good things have been thrown my way and I feel like a very lucky and blessed girl. I look forward to the next 30 years and just spending time with my family and enjoying life! :)
Amanda and Marley came out to play for a bit last night...so it was fun to watch those cuties run around like little crazies.
Love these boys - they're going to be good buddies growing up!
That's about it around here...now time to work friday, sunday and monday...boo :(
