1.5 years....

My little baby is a year and a half already! HOW in the world did this happen?!?! I remember when he was a newborn and cranky and crying ALL THE TIME, wishing he would get older and more independant and easier to handle. Now I can barely remember when he was that teeny tiny! It's definetly crazy how quickly time flies...must be cause were having so much fun!! :)
Just relaxing with the doggies

So, 18 months...

Weight: 30lbs (96 %ile)...which I actually think is more, but my little hellion wasn't cooperating on the scale.

Height: 36"!! (99%ile)...holy moly! The nurse was telling me that when a child is 2 years old, you are supposed to double their height and that's how tall they are expected to be when they grow up...plus she said they usually grow an inch or two before they are 2, so right now were saying about 6'2, 6,'3! Hello basketball scholarships ;)

Head: 49.9 (97%ile) - I kinda thought he was growing into his big jug...obviously not ;)

His current obsession is basketball! First thing he says when he wakes up or gets home, etc is "Shoot the basketball" over and over and over again! We spend every evening shooting hoops from all over the living room. He still LOVES to read books and singing and dancing to his nursery rhyme shows!

Yep, were already on the 3rd notch and still dunking! ;)

"I got Skillllz!"

Still a great sleeper and eats pretty good for the most part. And still quite the chatterbox!!!! I know i'm his mother, but I think that he is a genius by his huge vocabulary!

Little Streaker!

Definetly a mama's boy!!! Which does tend to irritate me alot, because he is constantly wanting me to hold him and is whining for me...but I'm head over heels for this clinger so I guess I shouldn't complain, because he loves me just as much. I'm just super nervous as to how he is going to act when we have a new baby around...guess we will find out soon enough.

"Mommy, mama, mom, mommy, mommy, up, mom"

Lots of changes coming over the next few months...and I'm exited to see how he handles all of them and see him become an even bigger boy! Before we know he, he will be off to school :(

Happy Year and Half little man! :) xoxoxo
